We are open for service Wednesday-Saturday from 5:30pm -10pm and kitchen staff must be present from 2 pm to prep for service. We also host events and functions in oujr dedicated events space which increases available hours on other days and weekend afternoons.We pay above average hourly rates and maintain a professional grade, clean and well ventilated and safe kitchen. Staff who work more than 25 hrs per week entitled to Paid Time Off and eligible for subsidized benefits program.Riverview is an award-winning large independent ACF registered full-service restaurant, bar & event center located on the Delaware river, in the historic district of Burlington, New Jersey. We scratch-make most items in our kitchen, source sustainably where possible, and respect locally grown or harvested items. Our menu changes seasonally but has a core of guest favorites.We are looking for enthusiastic kitchen professionals, or aspiring professionals to join our team! We specialise in food from garmo, sauté, grill, wood-fire, flat top. Our style is seasonal American, limited international and comfort food. We mostly scratch make our food and differentiate on taste and quality. What we’re looking for Individual accountability and ability to work in a team environment Great attention to detail Positive outlook and outgoing personality Previous kitchen cooking experience an advantage but not necessary. ability to follow recipe's and direction open to learn a wider range of cooking techniques Ability to follow & give feedback and meet standards Ensuring Food Safety & Hygiene, must be able to,pass servsafe handler. prepare and maintain food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices. Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, fryers, roasters, and other kitchen equipment and temping as needed Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
